FRIEND

I had a friend

She was beautiful.

Hair long and black, crimson eyes and ashen skin.

But she was terrifying just as she was gorgeous,

She had an upper body of a goddess but a lower body of a huge hairy spider.

Though scary at times I still loved her

Until I was caught in her web.

I Know you,

I see you,

You're afraid of me.

You cower in my presence.

Your mother tells you i'm not real.

One night,

I walked into a bar.

I met a man,

Charming and sweet,

We talked for what seemed like hours,

So I brought him home.

While kissing him, I had a thought,
